Operation Christmas Child | Oct. 15th - Nov. 19th

Since 1993, Samaritan's Purse has delivered over 135 million Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in poverty, disease, famine, and disaster in more than 130 countries around the world.  Churches, businesses, families, and individuals pack empty shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items demonstrating God's love in a tangible way.  In addition to receiving a gift filled shoebox each child is presented the gospel and a booklet about Jesus Christ.  Brochures are available at the OCC table in the church lobby and contain information about what to include and what not include in your shoebox.  You will need to decide if your shoebox will be for a boy or a girl and the age of the child.  To follow your shoebox online, information is available here
 

Shoeboxes will be collected at CFBC from October 15th - November 19th.  Last year we packed 149 Shoeboxes.  Our goal for 2017 is 200 Shoeboxes.  Boxes from the Mobile area will be collected and shipped to the Distribution Center in Atlanta, and from there around the world.  Please pray that God will touch the heart of every child who receives this simple shoebox gift and that He will bring many children and their families to faith in Jesus Christ.
