Reformation Day | October 31st

Five hundred and one years ago on October 31st, Martin Luther a little known Augustinian monk, nailed a list of 95 complaints against the practices and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church on the north main door of Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. Scholars soon distributed copies of Luther’s statement throughout Europe. Items that Luther likely only wished to have debated and changed in the church, would be the torch that would set a fire that would change the world forever. This has become known as the beginning of the Protestant Reformation. Bill Morgan will present a special message that evening in the Wednesday evening service. You will be blessed to hear about how the Lord used a few men to direct His church.
