**Just Announced: A Presentation and Q&A with Dr. Mbewe on "The State of the African Church" will take place at 5:00pm in the Fellowship Hall of CFBC.**
We are honored to host Dr. Conrad Mbewe as our guest preacher during the evening service on Sunday, January 31, 2016.
Dr. Conrad Mbewe has been pastor of Kabwata Baptist Church in Lusaka, Zambia, Africa since 1987. He became the church's first pastor after working in the Zambian copper mines. KBC is presently overseeing the establishment of about twenty new Reformed Baptist Churches in Zambia and other African countries. Dr. Mbewe also maintains a full itinerant preaching schedule, filling pulpits in many countries around the world.
Dr. Mbewe is editor of Reformation Zambia magazine and has maintained a column in at least one weekly national newspaper for the last twenty-five years. He has written over forty booklets in his country of Zambia and has three internationally published books: Maintaining Sexual Purity (RSA, 2009), Foundations for the Flock (USA, 2011), and Lessons from the Lives of Olive Doke and Paul Kasonga (UK, 2014).
Dr. Mbewe is the Principal of the Lusaka Ministerial College and the Chancellor of the African Christian University of Zambia. He also volunteers with the YMCA, providing vocational training to the many unemployed youths across Africa.
Conrad is married to Felistas and they have three children plus two foster daughters.
