Thank You To All Who Served

It is difficult to really express one’s thankfulness to those who have given their lives to protect the lives and sovereignty of our country.  To express gratitude to the families who gave up their loved ones so our loved ones would be safe.  Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13).”  While no one could ever compare to the death and the love that Jesus had for His children, those that died for our freedom should always have a special place in all our hearts.  These died so that we could worship as God directs and so our children may have a future. 

God Himself established government and country for our good and part of His common grace is that all that live in this great country may have the opportunity to live in joy and peace.  But as always, those things that are significant and meaningful in our lives always come at a price.  Today we celebrate the men and women who laid down their lives for us and for those that while they may not have given their lives, they definitely give a portion of it for us.  Thank you soldiers and families of soldiers of the United States of America military for all that you have done for this country for over 200 years.  We all are grateful to God for each of you.  God bless you and strengthen you and may His face shine brightly on you.
